Record View

Click on any Record to view, edit or delete its information from either Maps or List View

Note: Edit and Deletion capabilities are role and permission dependent

To view or edit the information of a Record from List View:

  1. Navigate to List View by clicking “Records” via the main navigation menu  
    • Select if you would like to view the Company, People or Deal List View
  2. From List View, click the desired Record to load its details
  3. From here, you can view the Record or edit any fields
    • Tip: The order the fields appear within the Details tab can be customized by the Team Owner in Settings Layouts 
  4. Click "Save Changes" once you are finished editing

To view or edit the information of a Record from Map View:

  1. Navigate to the Map by clicking “Maps” via the main navigation menu
  2. From Map View, click the desired pin to load a box with the record’s name and address

  3. Click on the record name
  4. From here, you can view the Record or edit any fields
  5. Click “Save Changes” once you are finished editing

To use Quick Actions on a Record: 

Using the Quick Action buttons at the top of the Record View - quickly interact with records in a number of ways.  

To use the below Quick Actions, a website, phone number, email address, and physical address must be added to the record or the button will be greyed out

    • Visit Site (For Company records only): Quickly link out to the website listed on the Company record
    • Call: Make a call right from your computer to the phone number registered 
    • Email: Send an email to the email address registered on the record
      • "Send via MMC" connects to the premium Bulk Email feature
    • Get Directions: This will open a separate window that takes you to your selected routing app with directions to get to that location
    • Add Activity: Start logging an Activity associated with the opened record in one click of a button (This is not a check-in)
    • Add Note: Log a Note to the Company record (This is not an Activity) 
    • Manage Frequencies: Add, remove, or edit a Frequency to the opened record
    • Manage Groups: Quickly add the opened record into an existing Group or into a brand new Group
    • Add to Route: Quickly add the opened record into an existing Route or into a brand new Route 
    • Manage Relationships: Add a Parent / Child relationship with another Company record or create and associate a new Person / Deal record 
    • Street View: Visualize this record on the Google Map Street View to understand the area around the record

    Note: The Quick Actions you use the most will appear at the top of the record - all other Quick Actions are accessible through the ellipses (...) on the right side

To navigate Record View:

Use the various tabs on the Record View to find the information you are interested in:

  • Details: See location and basic information about the Company
  • Activities: Visualize recent activities in a scatter plot chart and add new Activities
  • Relationships: View people, deals, and routes associated with the record
  • Notes: See a log of all notes associated with the record and add new Notes
  • Files: See all files uploaded in the record and add new files
  • Emails: Review past emails send via MMC Bulk Email, responses to these Emails or other Inbox emails related to this record 
    • Note: Visibility and use of this tab is contingent on using MMC Bulk Email

To delete a Record:

  1. From List or Map View, click into a Record to navigate to Record View
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the red "Delete" button
  3. If you're sure, click "Delete" to confirm

If needed - deleted records can be restored for up to 90 days via Restorable Records in Settings

To view Record History:

At the bottom of the Record View for Companies, People and Deals (on the Web version of MMC only) - you are able to access Record History which will highlight any field level changes that have been made to this particular record

Within the table - see relevant information about the records that have been deleted such as:

  • Field: Displays the field on the Company, Person or Deal that was changed 
  • New Value(s): Displays the updated value of this field
  • Old Values(s): Displays the prior value of this field before an edit was made 
  • Date: The date the change to this field was made 
  • Source: How this change was made whether in the MMC Mobile app, Web app, via Integrations, the Public API, an Import or an automated workflow that has been established 
  • User: What user is responsible for the change that occurred 
      • Note: Changes made via CRM Integration will list the admin CRM user through which the CRM is connected to MMC not the user who made the change within CRM 

Use the Filters in the upper right corner of the table to focus into changes made on a specific date, to a specific field, from a specific source or by a specific user

Hit the X in the upper right corner or the back button above the record name to record to the Record View page
